NTA but this is where you made the cardinal mistake, kiddo.
Your graph is how any of 770/880/990 lineup sounds with improper (insufficient) amplification. It makes them distorted and peaky in the highs.
As soon as you plug them into high output. high Vp-p AMP their frequency changes to pic related (they also become sub-bass monsters, especially the 770s). This applies to 80ohm variants of that lineup too so you cannot get away that issue.
It has to do with their drivers horrendous avg. 90-94dB/mW insensitivity combined with uneven sudden sensitivity changes through their frequency line.
You either get a powerful amp for them, or you don't buy beyers at all, that is how it is.

Btw non-harman AKGs (550, 612, 701/702/712) suffer from the exactly same problem, but even more severe in it's audio side effects.
