Brother I free range. It's even easier. I do deep litter and free range. I go out and let them out. I change their water out on Wednesday (it's a small pond) and shit post while it drains.
I force my wife to collect eggs.

I joke... I do a lot, but at my own pace so I really enjoy the life.

You can't really see it behind the two dyke hens raising 1 baby. But I built that metal shed aside from the roof which I asked a hutterite for help.
I'm scared of heights.

I also spend a lot of time delivering eggs and products. I got 100-150 chickens aside from over winter.

Dunno if your mom ever processed, but I am a bitch and processing my chickens makes me sad and that always sucks.
