It's common sense I fear.... But a lot of people didn't take sociology and had such shit sex ed, explaining the points gets even more difficult. You're asking trannies (who are already seen as unreliable narrators) to explain gender identity and how it interacts with culture, sex assigned at birth, intersex people, how some DSDs present, HRT and gender dysphoria, the difference between drag queens and trannies... And you have to explain this to people that believe AI videos are real and Michelle Obama is a man. So inevitably you're going to run into bullshit hurdles that dumb people enjoy putting in your way:

>having to explain why you can be a male woman but not a digimon or Cherokee princess
>having to explain that sexual orientation and gender identity are not the same thing
>having to debate bullshit about sports or prison
>"But this transgender thing is very modern, and we don't see it in history-"
And now you're over explaining intersex people or transgender people throughout history to people who will forget once they get recommended a Lily Tino video.
Really cis people should be doing the work to check their own people rather than expect oppresed minorities (that they oppressed) explain themselves. But we know cis people ain't about that life, so they think we should "do better".
