watching a vtuber (jeanfaymas) play games made me realize why modern games have all the hyper-casualization features like

>yellow paint on everything interactable
>voiceover which persistently tells you to do simple tasks over and over until you do them
>mechanics which time out and solve themselves if you take too long

it's because women (who publishers increasingly target with games) really need them
to men these are annoying and unnecessary, to women they make games playable.

i also watched a female friend of mine play titanfall 2 and she got stuck in the factory level for like 2 hours confused on where to go, and also used the Devotion as a singlefire weapon since she never realized you could hold down fire to shoot rapidly
