My daughter Miyuki turned out to be Louise’s non Identical Twin in this jump. That caused a number of problems. Louise gained a inferiority complex thanks to her sister being prettier and more successful than her, As she had her magic unlocked she was a big deal and Louise was again the lesser.

Then I was summoned around the same time as Saito. A Jumper with many stacked appearance perks vs Saito. Yeah that didn’t go well for her.

However Miyuki and I worked to try and help Louise first unlocking her powers then a little tweak to her metabolism so she would develop earlier and in a big way.

Saito… Well it took a lot of working with him to get him to man up and be a hero. He didn’t want any of this but I helped him to accept he was here and better to make the best of it.

Through many adventures we helped to save the land. Louise earned the respect she so desperately sought and even Saito became useful, eventually. It took conscious effort on my part not to overshadow everyone else. I was holding back a good amount most of the time, but I really wanted to see the people around me grow as people and conquer their own problems. So in some ways I worked a lot harder than everyone else but in others at times I just seemed to be… there, until I would do something miraculous when it looked like all hope was lost.
