I think it's a good controller for what it needs to do. As someone else said, not having a right analog stick really isn't a deal breaker, using that for camera controls hadn't become a standard yet, even the few that did would usually only turn it left and right and not be full camera control. I actually really like holding the Dreamcast controller, its deep grooves in the back are really comfy on my hands. My only complaint is there not being any rubber on the stick and how it can twist in place a bit, makes it feel a little cheap.

Picrel is the worst controller Ive ever used, the Apple Pippin. Probably the worst D-pad ever manufactured. I couldn't walk in a straight line in Marathon to save my life I always always drifting to the left or right slightly. It also just feels like shit in general.
