The TV broadcast has washed out colors and weird zoom ins that result in parts of the picture being cut off. It also airs at 1:30 AM, and the Youtube reuploads go up at 7:00 PM Sundays, when people are more likely to be watching/doing something else.

It's been mentioned countless times, the current anime season is incredibly boring, and people were specifically noting that Crashtown works well as a standalone series. (It's been years since I've watched it so I don't know how true that is.) There's a mass of people who are looking for something new and interesting, and are watching 5Ds for the first time

Depends on how they do the batches. Zexal starts off pretty rough, but if the first batch of uploads reaches Kaito's introduction, it might catch people's intrigue. I don't know if collectathon style anime is still popular in the modern day. People criticize Zexal's duel writing for being boss monster turbo protect the castle, but there's always the chance that Jojo being more popular than it was when Zexal originally aired might lead to people enjoying that in the framing of boss monsters as Stands
