tried ruby but just couldn't get into it
tried diamond back when no$gba added ds support during the early days of ds emulation and I think I was more impressed by being able to play ds games on my pc than with the game itself
tried ultra sun when I got a 3ds, thought it was kinda shit
people have said black and white are good, so maybe I'll try those ones out but I tried out the newer games on switch and aside from the mechanic of throwing the pokeball in arceus I didn't like them
I still think very fondly of the early games, the newer games just aren't for me
