Exactly that. Even the few things they get right are so few and far between and usually get ruined. I liked Goku being able to cook or Goku and Vegeta having some really good and hot blooded sportsmanship but these were done almost begrudgingly, I'm sure the Goku/Vegeta fight was actually 2 pages long in the final version back then
