Pretty much, and then you have to factor in Perfect Parries/Dodges as well. FOr a "gooner" game, there's a lot more mechanical depth than your typical eroge or WEG. It's almost like the sex appeal (while welcome) is secondary to the game actually being good, like pretty much every action game with a hot female lead.
I can only assume the people calling this game shallow and a porn game are the type of people that get cross at 2B , Bayonetta or Rayne because they're hot. Such people should be mocked and ignored at this point.

I find the wavy haircut, A2's long hair and the shorter haircuts look better on Eve than anything else, especially with no ponytail. I don't think she's ugly (she's extremely attractive by real life and even anime/vidya standards), it's just her default look doesn't match that well compared to those ones.

You have to either upgrade your dash to go farther at one of the campsite terminals and/or use double jumping (which you get after beating the Light of Hope story quest) to cross that sequence.
