It's not that much confusing, returning characters got half of their names changed when they got a new body

Same tactic was used in JG1, Broadcast (Blaster) into Twincast, Megazarak (Scorponok) into Black Zarak, Sixshot into Greatshot...

Tho I agree that I don't know if Micron Densetsu Bumble is the same as Superlink Cliffjumper, both got G1 Minibot names.... and that's it
