the difference is that most of that in nine sols is single stimuli reaction simulator with nothing else involved, and a railroaded action game where youre always in pristine shape to battle the next boss. positioning and movement barely matters there in comparison and attacking is practically zero commitment
>and punishes panic mashing
barely, specially hard to argue for 9S being particulary difficult or disallowing of careless button presses when its entire side of defense and dealing with enemies is a directly simpler and shallower version of sekiro. Its already slightly easier to land a perfect deflect after immediatelly having misstimed it like sekiros, and the punishment for failing a perfect deflect is smaller than sekiro's in practice. Internal damage is much more forgiving than the chip in charmless, except the chip of charmless isnt a big deal in the first place, its getting posture broken in the middle of the combo when your posture gauge was maxed. And thats not considering how theres actually some degree of commital to attacks in that game

HK on the other hand, if you arrive at Failed Champion (the dream version of the first boss) at all early, you will have a tough fight that actually requires you to use your brain, be good at movement, react to shit falling from the ceiling while you dodge attacks, and has way more health than you compared to how fast it kills you. In 9S you pretty much need to deliberately not pick upgrades in that situation, and even then doing upgrade-less eigong isnt very hard outside of just taking a while because youre gonna be doing the same simon says against every attack, and the specific circumstance/position youre in for every attack literally does not matter
But i get it dude, you struggle with M2M2M2 parryslop, no shame in admitting that
