For some fucking reason there seems to be a lot old scifi books that allude to the Human/Alien relationships but then pussy foots around it, to the point that it feels like false advertisement. Look at pic related for example. Its the cover for a book called Godsfire. You'd think it would be about a naked cat woman and a Human man surviving on a hostile planet together and potentially growing closer, right?
Nope. He's her slave and they don't end up together. The book is fucking dogshit and the cover is the only good thing about it.
