Question from someone who is out of the loop: Does current Cathay have any downsides like rest of humanity in Warhammer who are caricatures of their chosen cultures?
Bretonnia has peasantry and overtly strict and backwards nobility, Empire has witch hunts, quarreling states and general griminess and Araby has crusades, evil sultans and such, but everything I've seen makes Cathay look very pristine and perfect.
Any fucked up real history shit like arbitrary killing of court members? Genocide-tier civil wars with cannibalism? Extreme scale of death because of natural/man-made disasters?
