I wonder at what point did the trolls turn from being literally internet trolls to being aliens, and then the whole can of worms that that opened up.

Looking through pic related, makes me feel all giddy at how everything fit together, and how cool all the pieces would have come together, and then reminded of what it eventually turned out to be.
