I REALLY wanted to give a shit about the main trio, but it's hard when the show from the start was already doing so much. I would've had more faith if things remained small scale, but now we're dealing with shit on a """quantum""" level and now timelines are converging on to itself. I think? Whatever.

I think there's tons of potential to have a "Cold War" type of story focused on kids having to deal in living in a world that's constantly on the brink of destruction, but the show's too goddamn nerdy to properly focus on that without the main trio feeling overshadowed by it all. Obviously Machu/Nyaan have developed as characters but at the end of the day they're still gears in a much larger machine so it's hard for me to care. Even though I legit want to. I guess for Chalia it's easier cause he's a much bigger cog fighting against the machine, somewhat. I dunno. I really wanted to love this show man.

Have you watched any other tsurumaki or enokido shows btw? is this your first?
