Why does it seem like everyone around me sucks fucking balls with handling relationships?

You people are sexist, unempathetic, petty, and judgmental, and still think its a good idea to start dating?

Whenever I hear of some 'lovers quarrel' anywhere ever, its almost always just the couple's ignorance in communicating properly with each other.

A relationship is built on mutual understanding and respect. You're with that person and do things for that person because you love them, not because you'll get something in return, vice versa.

Men, you don't owe dinner or money.
Women, you don't owe sex or housekeeping.
A girlfriend or a boyfriend isn't a trophy.

It ain't a fuckin business deal, it should not be that way.
