As much as I like DND Its a fucking shit system

Low levels are filled with random omeshots, but its more of a tool to get a story going, and some RP
High levels are extremely geared towards "Save or die", mostly because the game scaling means more rounds for combat is bad, and the GM is suppose to fudge edge rolls to speed up the process anyhow.
It always remains interesting what adaptions of DND do away with. The key one is either the HP system, or making the Roll or Die into very niche systems
