I don’t really keep up with /vt/ anymore but I remember VShojo was always controversial. Console wars aside, Nijisanji is more like the All Elite Wrestling of vtubers - incompetent and horribly managed but not downright evil, they’ll end not with a bang but with a whimper. VShojo being the corpo that steals money from cancer kids or whatever just sounds more fitting. Shame about the rare few good VSjs though, I wish them the best.
But honestly, I’m just done with corpos in general
