>characters talk about whatever for half a minute during gameplay while i just stand there doing absolutely nothing
>hop on a horse and hold X while NPCs blabber about whatever again but this time for about 5 minutes
>watch cutscene
>criminals escape to a moving train and i am tasked to hunt them down
>game has already decided how i should go about that
>not allowed to shoot the criminals
>only thing i can do is mindlessly tap X and watch scripted animations play out for my entertainment
>train slows down at a scripted moment
>jump on the train exactly when the game tells me to when i couldnt do that previously
>run to catch the criminals by tapping X again
>scripted moment where one of the criminals holds me down
>button prompt pops up and tells me to tap circle to free myself
>run to the last bad guy by tapping X again
>he stops to fist fight at a scripted moment
>cant lasso him cause game arbitrarily locked all the doors and trapped me in a small room
>defeat the criminal latch him onto a horse and tap x to destination while listening to npc chatter
>watch cutscene
>mission completed
