hat gimmick is cool.
not enough audiovisual indicator of whether or not you are wearing a hat. everything else is juicy why not the most important thing in the game
enemies feel a little too flighty. some of the fights take so fucking long because some little kid spends 60 seconds running away from you
relative melee feels jank. I understand you want it to be easy to smack shit next to you without your mouse being right next to the player. we have something for that called a melee button. but also i think it could be fine with a coding pass. just limit the angle of the bat to stay within this range based on your cursor's position
