I'm guessing three things added up to Firenzes closing:

1. Free money by being on Gordon Ramsay's tv show and letting him take the blame for the closure.

2. Outrageously high property values and they have a nice sized chunk of real estate.

3. Changing demographics with more Blacks moving in the city.
