>but to assume that is the primary generative force behind good
Nonono! But ONLY in the Material!

>freedom alone doesnt do jack shit
Correct, but *in the material* its not "just" freedom. The Material plane has... materials, raw materials, and is also governed by the greater order of the Mental Plane, which subtly shifts everything towards Good over time (via evolution, which I'll get back to in a sec).

>but it doesn't create outcomes
But it really DOES over time (or generations, depending on context). That's the true nature of evolution (in a sense broader than just biology). Just "random inputs until something is better than the rest". We basically build AI by evolving it.

>using evolution as a metaphor for for how freedom leads to greater good couldnt be further from the truth
>evolution at its core is ruthless raw unfiltered selection
ONLY in the purely material context, where "Good" translates simply to "Power". That's our biological evolution, but we evolve memetically as well, not just genetically. And memetic evolution is what's made us actually better than other animals.

>what survives isnt what thinks its free but what is FIT to survive
Oh no, you've misunderstood that part.
If we're talking about animals, the Netzach and Hod of evolution happen with the species., not any individual.
In effect, it guarantees (especially with thinking actors) that better ways will be found over time, whether physically evolved or mentally invented.

Also, once you get outside the material, what "survives" in evolution can start to depend more just on people's preferences.
