JoJo blew up in the west at the time of Part 3's second half airing. Part 5 was just the 'biggest' because a lot Part 4 got a lot of popularity from following on from the backlog parts that got people started.
Part 6 didn't take off for a variety of reasons. People say netflix, I don't really buy that. Part 6 in general has never been that popular.
