In a way I don't get it. Capitalism is very flawed in this way. Why are they wasting so many of their resources on something so absolutely useless. They're not the only one Apple, Hotels all of these very wealthy corporations seem to be incredibly bad with their money when it comes to real estate. Just as bad as governments if not worse. They're just showing off for no monetary gain.

This isn't going to increase the money of the company. It's not going to lure in top talent to work for them instead of other companies just because they have a fancy tower. It's doing a whole jackshit except waste money their HQ could have been a much cheaper much better located building somewhere else.

This just looks like smaller much shitter version of Odaiba Tokyo. With no public transport, a gigantic eyesore of a freight thermal that should have been located on another Island altogether. They could have just built that one to the north in the imagine near that tiny island and left this separate as a different spot.
Look at Toyota for example.
Toyota Motor Corporation Tokyo Head Office on Google Maps also look at their reviews if you want some good laughs, there literally Indians begging for jobs and Americans angry they have to pay 1400$ for repairs.
Anyways, Yes it's in a fancy location but it's also very utilitarian, 3 minute walk from Suidobashi Station, 5 minute walk from Iidabashi Station a literally hub that connects most of Tokyo. Close to embassies of other countries and their big customers.
