Now let's see the box office of the movies the public consider innovative, creative, a breath of fresh air, movies loved by the public
>The bad guys
Box office: $250.4 million
>Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Box office $394 million
>Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem
Box office: $180.5 million
>Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
Box office: $484.3 million
>Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
Box office: $690.8 million
As you can see only ONE of these movies isn't close to the Pixar flops. People are not tired of the "pixar bean mouth style" they are tired of animated 3d movies PERIOD.
The only 3d animated movies that turn out a profit are either Pixar sequels or illumination slop.
I think it is time to face the cold hard truth, 3d movies are not impressive anymore, they were a product of their time, I remember being a kid and seeing finding nemo at the theater and being blown away by it, no person born after 2005 will feel the way I felt it is just impossible, 3d movies and characters are a common thing nowadays, they didn't grow up with things like Jimmy Neutron, good looking 3d is a common thing to them.
There is no fixing this movie, there is no fixing the style, there is no innovation that can save 3d movies, it is just over, they were a product of their time and now they are slowly going away
