all depictions of them don't give them snouts and have short hoods that don't leave space for one, and all depictions make them human sized or smaller, no depiction or description makes them taller
even the presence or absence of a tail is not as contradictory as many thinks, because the one depiction of a hrud thought to not have a tail, pic related, does in fact actually have a tail, a short one with the female reproductive organ attached, which opens the possibility that the longer more visible tails are part of sexual dimorphism
