Nigger you have guns against shit that's resistant or even immune to small arms fire

guns and a goddamned bike are not some magical catch all because this is not some shaun of the dead shit its much worse
Once again, there are maybe two to three dozen monsters you'd have to deal with in silent hill, most of which are weak, slow, and stupid and half of which can be avoided or ignored safely. You could walk out with a single digit body count and we already know every thing in it is beatable by a normal person because you have completely normal, mentally ill people pushing their way through it. Hundreds of cops and soldiers ate shit in raccoon. Out of hundreds of thousands of people less than a hundred managed to survive and find a way out once the outbreak hit peak mass in late september.
There are even guns in silent hill too so your dumb pistol is a moot point
