This is war not a movie. In Vietnam plenty of US wounded where left behind to the VC. Sadly if your wounded on an attack your dead. Drones make it that retreat is impossible unless you shoot down the drone that is doing recon then maybe you can escape. I have seen lots of shotguns but they are never used on attacks only in the rear.
