Please don't. You'd just be giving a recap of events but the characters remain largely static throughout. Describe instead how Touma actually changes and grows as a character. He gets more resolute sure but that's to be expected in any hero's journey. What else changes in him?

I'll give you that Saber's plot did technically move dizzyingly fast in Q1 but god were the plot points thin and unremarkable. I vaguely remember the mid stretch being about Yuri, Rintarou, Kento and turning against the sword order with the last third about Genta's magic master shenanigans plus that one Kami episode with the greenboy and Desast.

I'd say most of the wheelspinning in Gavv is past the halfway point around Sorbet and the Bitters but otherwise it was notably tighter than usual up till then. I feel like the story outline didn't quite have enough to fill the 50 episodes so they saved everyone for their final payoffs in the last quarter and simultaneously rushed and padded things out to get to Over and Master forms.

>It was to keep your promises and to have faith in yourself and your friends, they are being constantly hammered throughout the show.
That counts? What exactly aren't the other shows that aren't powered by MISUNDERSTANDINGS not doing to keep promises and relying on power of friendship? I feel like Geats did more with that than Saber did and it's already got a clear main theme about desires overtaking morality and principles.
