If it were conventional bounty hunting, I would focus more on information-gathering and then report the target to the authorities. Most bounty hunters can just give info to the authorities and collect bounties that way.
If I were in a somewhat "lawless" territory, I'd use my Beretta or perhaps carry a double-action-only snub nose revolver as well as heavy gloves for catching knife blades and punching.
