Honestly? You dont. Look at the new "centurion" from the saturnine kit and then look at the "praetors" from AoD or betrayal at calth. There really isnt some clear cut separation in fanciness between them.
The praetor should ideally stand out in some way, be a nice focal point for the army, but there really isnt some unique class of models for them. This dude was a praetor model back in the day, not exactly the flashiest thing in the world right?
