It's pretty hot in Sweden right now, my apartment is not falling under 28c. Then again, it's only been like this for a week, and will probably only be like this for max 1-2 more weeks. We complain about the heat but its really not worth the cost + hassle to get building permit and get a large AC unit installed. I have fans in every room and a portable AC to cool my vidya room. I'd rather suffer a little bit of heat for a few weeks than to spend 3-4 months in winter freezing or paying massive heating bills.
Now central-sotuhern europe I can understand them being sad, they've been getting slammed by heat wave fronts every year now, which we get to avoid due to air pressure or something
