Ehhh... they're paired often, but not in the romantic way, same as Quatre/Risette and Judith/Bergard. Also all Feri connect events are suspiciously about marriage and coming of age, also Feri chose Van to perform that important ceremonial earring shit.
Don't get me wrong I really hope we won't get another CS4 garbage where Van will get 10+ romance options. Imagine waiting for the romance for 3 games, only to get the same garbage as before. At least do something different like LGC route romance or some shit.
