By the time you hit 30 you'd have all the resources you'd need to get a perfectly rolled orange weapon in VT2.
VT1 required getting incredibly lucky for the first game, but that got changed after the first year, so unless you played 1 on launch and took a nearly decade long break to play Darktide, all the shit you're bitching about has been in the previous games already.
