Night furies are a similar story. 30ppm (more than the dawnbreakers! as much as a glaive raptor) but absolutely nothing beyond their combat power going for them. Just 5 attacks that spike on 6s.

I wonder if vanguard will end up as one of the big deals for which specialists are worth taking and which are going to be replaced by a generic equivalent. The lack of any such rules is also present on command squads, which might be significant in that case.
