I wasn't even hung up on the ending having them end up recently married, without a kid yet, it was just sudden, there was little development between Gojo and Marin once they became a couple near the end; we couldn't even get the first time they had sex, no need to be graphic if she didn't want to, just frame ir offpanel. That way the series ended with early events like that time they went to a hotel being having more sexual tension than anything that happened after they became a couple in the end.
