Don't you know the homophobic history of the New York Times? They ran "Moral Majority" ads during the 1980s and called HIV "gay cancer", and banned positive mentions of the word "gay". Everyone gay working there was closeted, their editor in chief at the time was known as a huge homophobe and on his grave it says "HE KEPT THE PAPER STRAIGHT" (not joking, look it up).
