Mind you, I am biased since Cartethyia reminds me of my waifu. It also follows the classic structure of a noble hero rescuing a fair maiden trapped in a magical tower, and I think it does that pretty well (narratively speaking).
I think that the biggest thing WuWa's story telling suffers from is pacing. Things usually progress a bit too quickly.
