I looked up some existing hydroponic stuff in the setting, those two domes on the front of the Invader are hydroponic bays with enough productivity for a surplus. They also give us a little insight into jump bubbles since they can rotate outwards but if they're fully extended, will be sheered in half by a jump since they will be outside of the jump bubble.
