It's wild just how many of Warframe's combat issues stem from its movement style. Everything from level design to damage output to ability ramp-up potential to the fucking value of punch through and single-target weapons exists downstream of the need to balance around moving like an autist having an overstimulation spergout, and it's just so tiresome. Meanwhile, it's become such a core component of this game's identity because the vast majority of players only joined long after the introduction of the operator, which is imo where the movement issue really started to spiral out of hand. We'll never get it back, and despite all the memes I simply can't see Soulframe as a "slower-paced Warframe" to replace it.
