Endwalker gets a pass for it's poor pacing because it's wrapping up a bunch of storylines over ten years.
It has 24 hours worth of cutscenes.
Dawntrail does not get a pass because it isn't trying to wrap up a bunch of loose ends they didn't need to have slow pacing it could have been a tight concise story but instead it was horrendously papced, Dawntrail had 21 hours of cutscenes.
Heavensward had 8 hours of cutscenes to put in comparison.
