>Rika: I’m Rika Tatsumi of Daydream. I think Kyōraku Kyōmei is the tag team we’ve fought the most, always pushing and challenging each other since their formation. I’ve always wanted to see Kyōraku become champions, and I also wanted to be the first to challenge them—so honestly, it feels like we’re late in doing so. For some reason, Daydream hasn’t been teaming or fighting together for about a year now. I’ve been eagerly waiting for Daydream to get moving again, and at SUMMER SUN PRINCESS '25, we’re going to cause absolute chaos.

Daydream went through a sort of “recharging period,” and now we’re stronger as individuals, ready to fight together again at SUMMER SUN PRINCESS. The first time we faced Kyōraku was five years ago at the same event. Daydream is now in its sixth year. We’ve evolved—not just changed, but truly evolved—and I’m really happy that we get to have this match under those circumstances. This summer, Daydream is going to steal the show. Let’s do this!

When we were in the tournament to reach the belts, I fought with the mindset of taking down every team I had previously lost to. But Daydream’s name wasn’t in that bracket—and that left me with a bit of frustration, maybe even some anger. But now that they’re here, I’ve decided to let that go. When we took the belts from 121000000, I felt like we got one step closer to my ideal image of a perfect tag team. It gave me a real sense of accomplishment. Since then, we’ve defended the titles in Las Vegas and in Osaka against Asian opponents. With each match, I’ve come to believe that as champions, we need to keep getting bigger in scale...
