you should basically never use SUCC EX, even with M4.
All normal EX chains into each other up to 5 times, with M2 you also get 1200% bonus attack there. If enemy attacks frequently - you parry with EX, if not, you spam full chain of 5 attacks, then switch to other char (panda), so that he does EX and switches you back.
