The United States has stopped the scheduled supplies of Patriot air defense missiles and other weapons to Ukraine - @nickschifrin.

Patriot missiles protect Ukraine from Russian ballistic missiles. Other air defense components are critical, as well.

To understand the scale:

In June 2025 (just in one month), Ukrainian Air Forces destroyed:

◾8 Kinzhal missiles
◾14 Iskander-M ballistic missiles
◾93 X-101/X-55CM cruise missiles
◾12 Kalibr cruise missiles
◾27 Iskander-K cruise missiles
◾13 guided aviation missiles
◾2,453 Shahed drones
◾659 reconnaissance drones
◾1,479 drones of other types.

So much of that was targeted at Ukrainian civilians, on Ukrainian peaceful cities.

Just on June 29, over 500 Russian air targets were launched at Ukraine.

No one has ever done what Ukrainian air defense does in this war, I think.

They are protecting our Ukraine in an extremely challenging environment against a very strong and well-equipped enemy. But they need the equipment to shoot down Russian drones and missiles raining down on Ukraine.
