You should try making conversation with what you see and what you got!!!!!! Examples for that situation could be:
"I also really like the band on your t-shirt!" (Sharing interests)
"Is that food item really good? I've heard about it/i also really like those!"
(Ur setting yourself open to listen to whatever she has to say)
"Your hair looks really pretty!"
(If you notice something that looks like she spend a lot time on getting right you should say this.)
ONLY SAY THIS STUFF WHEN YOU GENUINELY MEAN IT!!
You shouldn't expect dates or anything like that immediately. If you're just gonna think of being friends as a kind of waitlist situation to get picked you shouldn't do any of this and go to a brothel instead.
Theres always next time. Don't get too upset if you get rejected or if it gets awkward. Making friends and asking people out isn't the easiest stuff.
