I have a theory that the netease art department is being told to intentionally nerf skins by one or two small details to make people not be entirely satisfied and have a reason to buy the next one. There are a handful of skins that can overcome these defects but that's because their strong points are just too good for the nerfs to be noticeable. The artists over there are undoubtedly talented so this is the only thing that makes sense to me.
