Of all the problems you could have with the movie, "the bomb wouldn't actually work", and "the guy would actually freeze faster" are just autistic nitpicks. Not using the AI to communicate across the ship is a plothole, yes, but wouldn't ruin the movie for most people. I don't remember what other nitpicks you listed because I'm not scrolling back up for that.
