That's not to say he's a bitter dude or anything but it is to say he's been in a ton of cabinet meetings and has casually followed the 5 years of drama and failure that is the 2020+ gun bans.

I completly agree with your sentiment; a great sin of the Boomers and Gen X is they got their grandfathering and never fought for the next generations to have the same freedoms they had.
I don't want us to be like them, but we are in a desperate situation to own and use what little we have left.
My post are only to pass on what I've heard, take them with the obvious pinch of salt and if you want it, consider reaching out to your MP.
The new minister is a complete retard of a jeet mess and he might be desperate enough to reach for an easy answer (grandfather everyone and cancel the buyback).
They've spent far too long and too much committing to the buyback, but offering grandfathering would likely up compliance and it's frankly the only option for the provinces committed to not cooperating.
