Don't get me wrong, I kept Kina on my first run too. The thing is that, first, it's the moral but impractical decision, and second, it is an extraordinarily universal choice. People who normally do "evil" or "intentionally incorrect" runs on management/rpg/sim games keep Kina. People who were intentionally doing an evil playthrough on THIS game kept Kina (example: Mono Monet).

Kina's a brash, straightforward troublemaker with no respect for you or Saeko or anyone else. Saeko's shown you what that attitude will get you during your first and second conversations. Kina is also not a team player, not even to advance her own ends--she even talks about driving off all of her own fans. She's a likeable liability. The biggest argument in her favor is that the game gives her very obvious character development over a small time period and that tends to suggest she can go from liability to asset. Kina would be a lot of fun to have as a giantess girlfriend, like Emilia from Macross 7, but that's not the position you're in.

Yui's a detestable snake. Her smile doesn't reach her eyes, and she smiles just the same. As an office snake she's adapted to working in a high pressure environment in which she is not in charge, and is used to manipulating those who are, from that position of powerlessness. The game has already shown you that that is what will earn you rewards, either by granting you a gingerbread man prize or by showing you the unclaimed prize in the dictionary that you could have earned if only you had the temperate courage to push at Saeko in appropriately mild ways. That gingerbread man is the key to understanding how to get the good endings, too--you need to develop emotional leverage. Yui is also very much a team player--she leaps at the chance to perform the repetitive labor of unwinding the string for you, tells you that she's good at handling tasks like that. She's token evil teammate material.
